– 4 bananas
– 12 plain truffles Mathez
Take each banana, keep the banana skin but make a slit with a knife avoiding cutting them in two.
Place three Mathez truffles in the slit.
Wrap them each in aluminum foil, making a “papillote”. Place them on barbecue grill.
Don’t forget to monitor the cooking : when the chocolate is melted, you can taste this dessert.

Ingredients for about 10 people:
– 1 apple
– 1 banana
– 24 strawberries
– 1/2 pineapple (12 pieces)
– 1 kiwi
– 10 plain Mathez truffles
For the marinade:
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 25 g of melted butter
– 1 tablespoon of rum
– 1/2 spoon of cardamom powder
Prepare the marinade by mixing the honey and the melted butter, then add the sugar, the rum and the cardamom.
Prepare the fruit skewers (thin wood skewers of about 15 to 20 cm long would be perfect): put a strawberry, a quarter apple, a banana (thick enough), a piece of pineapple, a slice of kiwi, a strawberry …
Place the skewers in a dish and sprinkle with the marinade at least an hour in advance.
Prepare a delicious chocolate sauce based on Mathez truffles: melt 20 truffles cook in a bain-marie (add milk according to the consistency of your coulis), it’s ready!
Cook the skewers on aluminum foil on barbecue, returning them from time to time. Then enjoy with a little Chocolate Mathez truffle sauce.
You can also make skewers with marshmallows and strawberries.
For a delicious dessert, try the fruit “papillotes”, with this recipe of roasted apples with dates and caramel.
Ingredients to make 4 roasted apples
– 4 apples
– 50g roasted pecans nuts
– 4 plain Mathez truffles
– 8 dates
Mix dates cut into pieces with roasted and chopped pecans nuts. Fill the apples with this mixing. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and one truffle in the center of the apple. Wrap the apples in two layers of aluminum foil. Close hermetically.
Place the “papillotes” on the barbecue grill when the fire is soft or directly in the embers.
Wait 20 to 30 minutes.
